Trip to St George Island over New Years

I got to make another trip to St George Island, FL over the holidays. I always enjoy the trip and get to see and catch up with a large number of friends on SGI. Here are a few photos from this visit.
All that is left of trees that have been conquered by the sea.

A peacock with a good view

A few wild peacocks

An old sign

The window of the front of the building now offers a look to the water, due to the back being washed away after a flooding of the bay from a hurricane.

A tree along the water line at low tide

Another low tide shot on the bay

A very droopy eyed dog

"Spare Time" between "Mary Beckett" and "Miss Sharon".
Sunken but still tied up

Evidence that Franklin County has the worst school system in the state, the town Apalachicola is spelled wrong on the back of this boat.

Highlights from Million Count

Here are links to a few of the big moments from MillionCount.com I had posted previously about my buddy who was counting from 1 to 1 million and his entire life during that time was filmed as it happened and put out live on the internet, and not just the counting part, but everything that happened basically 24 hours a day. Well here are a few highlight clips that are on youtube.

Muscovy Ducks

I was wondering around near the campus of LSU looking for something different to photograph and happened upon a group of ducks just wandering around near the lake. They actually approached me so they were not scared of people at all, and I am sure are regularly feed by people. I took took this random shot and moved on.
